Huey came to us back in early January, 2008, he is a four year old Border Collie mix. He came to us from another shelter, so we don't know much about his past. Huey has a moderately high energy level, and he is looking for an owner who would enjoy long walks or jogs. Typical of the Border Collie, Huey has a "great head on his shoulders". He already knows "sit", "down" and "paw", and would absolutely love additional obedience training to keep his mind and body stimulated. Huey is tired of the shelter environment and hopes for an owner who will appreciate his great demeanor and reward him with a home of his own filled with love. Due to his large size, Huey would do best in a home with older children, and would need to meet any potential canine family members. He has been altered.
