How is the animal with other animals?: Gran is great with other dogs that are her size and has lived with dogs before. We suggest that if you have a dog, and would like to adopt Gran, please bring your dog in to meet her first, to ensure they get along.

How is the animal with children?: We would prefer that Gran goes to a quiet, all adult home. Because of her traumatic past she will need socialization, and a lot of time to acclimate and adjust to her new surroundings. She is looking for a family that is very understanding, patient, and will give her lots of love.

Location and Hours of your Shelter?: Adoption Hours: Monday through Friday from Noon-7 p.m. Saturday & Sunday Noon - 5 p.m.

How did the animal come to you? Gran was one of 82 puppy mill dogs that came to The Anti- Cruelty Society after a puppy mill raid in Sparta, Tennessee. She lived in very poor conditions and wasn't cared for properly until now. Out of all 82 dogs, Gran is the only puppy mill dog that has not yet been adopted.
